NEED A 3D MODEL?

If you don’t have a 3D model, there a many websites online with thousands of free 3D. Some of our favourite websites are MyMiniFactory, Thingiverse, Pinshape and Cults 3D. If you can’t find a model that you would like printed or have a custom request, please Contact Us and we can help to find something for you to print.

You can also upload a 3D model created yourself through CAD softwares such as Fusion 360 and TinkerCAD.

The file types that are supported are STL, OBJ, STP, IGES, DXF.

Uploading a Model

We recommend uploading your model on a computer or laptop as it may be more difficult and slower to upload a model on your phone.
When uploading a model please understand that we have some restrictions. The maximum size that a model can be printed is 20cm x 20cm x 20cm. We strictly will not print any weapons or weapon accessories.

Once you have uploaded your model you have the option of twelve different colours and four different infill densities.
Infill density is the amount of filament printed inside your model affecting it’s strength, weight and durability. We recommend 20% infill as this allows for a strong and durable print, while using less material. Please note that the higher the infill percentage, the more material used and will result in a greater cost.

Please be aware of the size of your model. This can be changed by using the scaling bar underneath the upload model button. If you would not like to have uniform scaling you can press the lock button on the side of the bar and change the X, Y and Z values independently.
There is no rotation option for the model, once you order the model, we will rotate the model to allow for the best print.

Filament and Support Material

The 3D printing filament that we use is PLA+. This allows for high quality, strong and durable prints. It is also a cheaper option for 3D printing. Please note the melting point for this filament is anywhere from 130ºC to 180ºC which doesn’t make it suitable for designs that will be exposed to high temperatures for long periods of time. This is also the only 3D printing filament that we provide.

If you wish to print your model with a different filament, please Contact Us, and we make a custom order. Please note that there will be a significant cost for this as we will need to order and have delivered a new roll of filament.

Support material is breakaway support printed onto the model which allows for the printer to cleanly print overhanging edges on a model. All models that need support material will have it added for free and the model will be delivered to you without the support.

Uploading a model with multiple parts?

If a model you wish to print has multiple parts and would like to order them together, please Click Here. This link will take you to a page where you will receive a quote for the printing of all your parts. Currently you can’t upload multiple models on the upload model page at the same time, so please fill out the request form and we will send you a quote within 24 hours. This quote will calculate the parts as if they were printed all together instead of individually. We understand that many of our customers choose to print models with multiple parts and don’t want to pay over the minimum price for each part, so if you wish to do this please follow This Link.
